Driver crashes Jeep into light pole, PG&E box in Clovis

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- A woman in her 70s is recovering after her car jumped the curb, hitting a light pole and PG&E box. It happened at Peach and Alluvial avenues in Clovis just after noon Monday.

Clovis police say the woman was driving along Peach Avenue when she suffered an unknown medical condition. Her Jeep Cherokee drifted into the other lane, so she swerved and jumped the curb. Several people called police after hearing the impact.

Investigators say Clovis Unified is still on spring break, so traffic in the area was very light.
