Missing North Fork man with dementia found

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Madera County Sheriff's Office says an elderly man, who went missing on Sunday, has been found.

Jack Lagen, 86, who suffers from late-stage dementia, was located around midnight Monday, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Erica Stuart.

Lagen was reported missing at approximately 6:20 p.m. Sunday. The sheriff's office says he may have wandered off his property in the 53000 block of Piute Road in North Fork as early as 5:30 p.m.

No other information has been released.
