FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people were forced out of their home after a fire in Central Fresno Tuesday morning.

The fire started after 6 a.m. on Washington Avenue near First Street. Fire officials say the flames broke out on the first floor of the converted triplex and spread to the second floor. Both people inside the home were able to get out safely.

Investigators say an electrical problem caused the fire.
