Fire destroys trailer in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County firefighters aren't getting a break Sunday.

Some battling the Sanger fire had to quickly break away to fight another fire in Fresno County.

This one involved a double wide trailer near Navalencia and Muscat Avenues.

When firefighters showed up, it was fully engulfed in flames and was spreading to the dry grass nearby.

Before firefighters could work on the home, they had to fight the vegetation fire that was threatening other buildings.

They were able to stop the fire from spreading but the trailer was destroyed.

The homeowners weren't home at the time.

Two of their five dogs are still missing.
