FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A fire tore through a Madera apartment complex early Sunday and left over a dozen people homeless.
The fire broke out around 7 a.m. near Roosevelt Avenue and South Street in Madera. Firefighters said two units were destroyed and a third unit is also unlivable. The blaze resulted in two families, a total of 15 residents, being displaced.
No one was injured in the fire and investigators are looking into the cause.
The American Red Cross is assisting the affected families.
