Firefighters fight hay fire in Tulare County

EARLIMART, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters are working to put out a hay fire in Tulare County Wednesday morning. The fire is on Road 160, north of Avenue 72, which is east of Earlimart.

The fire started burning before one Wednesday morning.

No nearby structures are threatened.

The fire has been burning about 10 feet high.

Firefighters are bringing in additional equipment to help break up the large pile and hope to have it contained sometime soon.

It's unknown how the fire started.
