Flash from Sparky Electronics has died

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A local dog who was brutally attacked and received an outpouring of support after the crime, has died.

In October thieves broke into Sparky Electronics and brutally beat Flash the dog who lived there. Vets had to remove one of her eyes but what no one realized at the time is that the burglars shot the animal and the bullet was still lodged in her back. Police are still looking for the thieves.

Flash's caretakers hope someone will step up to help detectives. "The loss is just unimaginable. If anybody out there knows anything, please just come forward," said Rodriguez.
