TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Newly-released video from a Fresno police helicopter captured the end of a dramatic car chase.

The Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) video shows the body heat of a suspect hiding in a Tulare County orchard at Avenue 416 and Road 56 on Thursday night. The aircrew then directs California Highway Patrol officers on the ground to his location. They are able to move in and arrest Anthony Lopez without any trouble.

Authorities say Lopez led them on a chase from Tulare toward Dinuba and turned off his headlights in an effort to hide. He then rolled out of his car while it was still moving.

Lopez was booked into jail for assault with a deadly weapon, felony evading, and obstructing officers.
