Fresno burglary suspect arrested after police find gun in Fruity Pebbles

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police arrested a burglary suspect after finding a gun in a box of breakfast cereal.

Investigators said someone spotted 25-year-old Brandon Jones with the gun Wednesday night in Northeast Fresno. Police found Jones nearby and searched his apartment. They said they found a stolen gun inside a box of "Fruity Pebbles." According to police, the gun was stolen in a burglary about two-weeks ago.

Jones is now facing several felony charges.
