Authorities said two females overturned in a raft and were hanging on trees. They were both rescued and no injuries were reported.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno Fire Department rescued two women in the San Joaquin River near Highway 41 on Monday.

Authorities said two females overturned in a raft and were hanging on trees. They were both rescued and no injuries were reported.

Authorities said three people were on the raft. A man on the raft managed to safely escape and called for help.

Rescuers say none of them were wearing life jackets.
