Authorities said two females overturned in a raft and were hanging on trees. They were both rescued and no injuries were reported. (KFSN)

The Fresno Fire Department rescued two women in the San Joaquin River near Highway 41 on Monday.

Authorities said two females overturned in a raft and were hanging on trees. They were both rescued and no injuries were reported.


Authorities said three people were on the raft. A man on the raft managed to safely escape and called for help.

Rescuers say none of them were wearing life jackets.
