Fresno home invasion suspect cuts victim and threatens sexual assault, police say
Fresno police are investigating a home invasion and assault that took place just after six o'clock Wednesday night in East Central Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are investigating a home invasion and assault that took place just after six o'clock Wednesday night in East Central Fresno.

The victim had just pulled into her driveway and went inside her residence.

Officers rushed to the 3200 block of north Ezie regarding a burglary. When officers arrived a very distraught victim told them she was inside the home for a very short time when a suspect confronted her with a knife.

The suspect grabbed the victim and shoved an article of clothing in her mouth to prevent her from yelling for help. The victim was able to fight off the suspect but not before suffering minor cuts to her face and upper body.

The woman ran to a neighbor's house to call for help.

The suspect is described as an adult male, 24 to 29 years old, he had tattoos up and down both arms and a tear drop tattoo below his right eye.
