FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno man was booked into jail after police say he robbed a bank where he's a frequent customer.

Daniel Lopez tried to withdraw money from his account at the Wells Fargo branch on Shaw Avenue near Palm Avenue in Northwest Fresno on July 3. Investigators say when he was denied, he told the bank teller he had to rob her.

Police say Lopez got away with a bag full of cash, but officers arrested him last week at the Knights Inn on Blackstone Avenue near Griffith Way in Central Fresno. They say he admitted to taking the money.

The district attorney's office filed charges on Friday for robbery and several enhancements.
