FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police say a man who was inside his car with a gun threatening to kill himself in Southeast Fresno surrendered early Sunday morning. The scene unfolded in the area of Kings Canyon Road and Clovis Avenue.

The man spoke with Fresno police via phone for several hours. An Action News camera captured the moment when he stepped out of the car late Saturday night as if to surrender but then got back in the vehicle.
