Fresno senior citizen found guilty of murdering nephew

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 71-year-old Fresno man has been convicted of murdering his nephew in Parlier.

Michael Lopez Sr. died when he was shot by his uncle in March 2013.

Robert Lopez had no reaction in court when the verdict was read on Friday. Loved ones cried and held hands when they heard the decision.

He was also found guilty of an enhancement for using a gun. The conviction means Lopez will spend the rest of his life in prison.
