Fresno State fans celebrate big basketball win
Bulldog fans in Las Vegas celebrated the Fresno State Men's Basketball Team's Mountain West Tournament win and return to the NCAA tournament.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno State basketball fans packed local restaurants for the big game Saturday.

Meanwhile, Bulldog fans in Las Vegas celebrated the Fresno State Men's Basketball Team's Mountain West Tournament win, and return to the NCAA tournament.

Fans here in the Central Valley wasted no time celebrating. Brittany Rocha brought an entire table of people out to watch the Dogs' make history.

"It was a really fun game," Rocha said. "It was a really good game."

Troy Alexander says the game was intense and at times had him sitting on the edge of his seat, "Especially since we were undefeated in the beginning and how we lost against Oregon," he said. "After that, I was upset but we finally rallied to the end."

Carter Todd is soaking up the 68 to 63 victory too.

"How awesome it is that Fresno is back on the map and being able to be on the same like as Duke and North Carolina," Todd said. "It's awesome."

Todd and his buddy Logan say this season is one that will, without a doubt, go down in the history books.

"Fresno State is the biggest thing going on around here so it's awesome when they make it to the tournament," Logan said.
