FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno woman is asking for your help after her wallet was stolen at a local restaurant. Surveillance video captured the crime.

Vrisamar Espinoza says she was paying for her food at Tacos Tijuana in Southeast Fresno on Saturday and left her wallet on the counter. Soon after, another family came up to pay.

While the man was talking with the cashier the woman can be seen covering up Espinoza's wallet with her cell phone and then walking away with it.

Espinoza says she filed a police report. But is hoping someone will recognize the woman in the video.

"I can't drive anywhere because I don't have my license," said Espinoza. "So now I gotta go pay money and get it replaced, and call all my banks and credit card agencies."

"There's a lot of different fraudulent things that can go on once your stuff is stolen. Being an IRS employee I understand and see it first hand, and so I'm afraid."

Espinoza says employees recognize the woman as a regular. If you have any information -- you're asked to contact Fresno police.
