Gang member found with Sheriff's deputy's gun, investigators say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two gang members were recently arrested and one of them is accused of having a gun stolen from a Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy.

Detectives did a follow up investigation on Gabriel Esparza and Joe Hernandez on Wednesday. After searching their homes, investigators say they found these two guns -- including one with a high-capacity magazine at Esparza's home.

A day earlier police say they pulled the pair over and found a gun that was recently stolen from a Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy's personal vehicle.

Esparza and Hernandez both face numerous charges. It's unclear when they head to court.
