FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Yosemite National Park officials are asking for the public's help in finding a missing hiker.
Officials say 36-year-old Timothy Nolan had a wilderness permit to backpack from Happy Isles to Tuolumne Meadow from Sept. 1-4.
According to his mother, Nolan had planned on hiking a loop: Happy Isles-Little Yosemite Valley-Sunrise Lakes-Tuolumne Meadows-Lyell Canyon-Rafferty Creek-Vogelsang-Merced Lake-Little Yosemite Valley-Happy Isles, ending Sept. 9.
Nolan is described as a white male, 5'4" tall, 130 pounds with short hair.
