Hilmar murder suspect caught in Bay Area

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man wanted for murder in Merced County has been arrested in the Bay Area.

Orlando Yepez, 21, was shot to death on Kates Court near Tricia Drive in Hilmar. The homicide happened back in August.

This weekend, Menlo Park police stopped Hugo Hernandez, 23, and discovered his warrant for the murder. There's no word yet on when he may be brought back to the Valley.
