Illegal drug lab, firearms found at home near Fresno school

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police discovered an illegal drug lab and over two dozen firearms across from an elementary school. It happened Friday at home on East Pontiac Way in East Central Fresno near Miramonte Elementary School.

Police say Andrew Ewers, 31, was served a warrant as part of an ongoing stalking investigation. Inside Ewers' home, officers found 28 firearms, including one possible fully-automatic machine gun. Fifteen pounds of marijuana and a honey oil extraction lab were also found at the home.

Police say the butane and propane used to process the honey oil posed a significant danger to Miramonte Elementary and neighbors.
