Investigation underway into an officer-involved shooting in Huron

HURON, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Huron.

Deputies said a Huron police officer opened fire on a suspect near 5th and Central just before 9:00 p.m. Monday.

The suspect has been taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is expected to survive.
