Lemoore man accused of injuring a 6-month-old child

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Lemoore Police have arrested a 19-year-old for felony child abuse.

Police say Keith Jeff was drunk when he got in an argument with his 27-year-old girlfriend. They say he picked up her six month old infant and attempting to leave the house with the child.

The mother was able to get the baby back, but realized the baby had been injured. He suffered a fractured skull and tibia.

The child is reported in stable condition at Valley Children's Hospital.
