FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- 'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the Valley, letters and pictures for Santa are arriving in steady.
Fresno Postmaster Eve Forrest said, "The requests have run the gamut from a baby brother to the bicycle to the dollhouses. There is many requests out there."
Forrest says employees are also working as Santa's helpers this season and answering letters. The office has received more than a 1,000 letters addressed to the North Pole.
Over at Kirk Elementary in Southwest Fresno, Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special appearance. But these kids already wrote their letters making sure they're on his good list.
For many of these kids, they write their Christmas wishes well in advance. And they have their own theories on how Santa gets their letters to the North Pole from Fresno.
