Man arrested after letting infant son suck on marijuana pipe, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man was arrested after police say he let his 9-month-old son suck from the end of a marijuana pipe.

Travaris Amps, 28, was taken into custody in Santa Barbara where he faces child endangerment among other charges.

Police say Amps had 83 pounds of marijuana -- valued at about $80,000 -- at the home where he was staying. They also found video on his cellphone showing his 9-month-old son sucking from the end of a used marijuana pipe as if it were a toy.

Amps was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
