Man critically injured after being shot in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person has been shot and the police department's shot-spotter technology picked up the gunfire. It happened just before six Tuesday night near First and Grant in Central Fresno.

Investigators said a man was walking along the road when he was shot in the lower torso. He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

Police have reason to believe gangs are involved.
