Man displaced after house fire in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. -- Firefighters are trying to find out what caused a home to burn to the ground in Central Fresno.

The fire happened near University and Fruit. The man who lived at the home came home around 10:30 last night and found his house engulfed in flames. Firefighters happened to be nearby and quickly attacked the fire, but couldn't save the home.

No one was hurt. Officials are helping the homeowner find another place to live.
