Man found shot in his apartment near Fresno State, Fresno Police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police say a man was found by his girlfriend, suffering from gunshot wounds, in an apartment near Fresno State.

The incident happened on Sierra Madre and Barton Avenues. Police say there are no witnesses, but they do not believe the man shot himself.

The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.
