Man hit and killed by big rig on Highway 99 near Fowler

FRESNO COUNTY (KFSN) -- A man was struck and killed by a big rig on Highway 99 between Floral and Manning Avenue near Fowler.

The California Highway Patrol is not sure why the man was in the roadway.

The driver of the big rig stopped and is cooperating with officers.
