Man injured after daughter allegedly hit him with a car in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is recovering after police said his own daughter hit him with a car. It happened near Diana and Divisadero in Downtown Fresno just before 9:00 p.m.

Investigators said there was some type of disturbance involving the family members and the daughter ran over her father and broke his ankle.

They believe she did it intentionally.

Officers are now talking to witnesses to get the full story.

The daughter was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
