Man rescued after falling over 25 feet near Bass Lake
The man was hiking with a group of friends from the valley by Angel Falls when he slipped off a wet rock falling 25 feet to the ground below.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man continues to recover Saturday after being rescued near Bass Lake.

The man was hiking with a group of friends from the valley by Angel Falls when he slipped off a wet rock falling 25 feet to the ground below.

The man suffered a broken leg and cuts to his face.

His friends managed to call 911 and search and rescue teams were called in to assist.

The man was carried up the cliff and was evacuated by helicopter.

He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center and is expected to be okay.
