Man sent to hospital in critical condition after stabbing in Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One man is in the hospital after police said he was stabbed in Northwest Fresno. It happened around six Monday night.

Police said a man in his 50's is in critical condition after a disturbance near Shaw and Holt.

Investigators arrested on person in connection to the crime. At this point there is no word on a motive.

The stabbing is in the same area where two shootings took place within hours of each other last Thursday.
