Man shot in the stomach in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. -- Police are looking for the gunman who shot a man in west central Fresno.

The shooting happened in a Rally's parking lot near Olive and Highway 99. Detectives found the victim shot in the stomach. He was taken to the hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. He's said to be in critical condition this morning.

Detectives say he wasn't cooperating with them. At this point, there's no description of the shooter and a motive is not clear. It's not known if the shooting was gang-related.
