Man shot in the stomach in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating a shooting at Geneva and Elm that left a 22-year-old man in serious condition.

The shooting happened just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old victim was shot in the stomach and several shots also hit a nearby car and home.

A resident in that home says a gunshot nearly missed a person in that home.
