Man shot outside of City Wide Market in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are investigating a shooting that happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday at Dakota and Fruit.

Police say a man was shot right outside the City Wide Market. He was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Officers don't know yet if the shots were fired from a car.

They're still searching for suspects and trying to figure out the motive.

"Right now we don't have any information on the suspect or vehicle, we don't know who is involved or if it's gang related," said Lt. Joe Alvarez, Fresno Police Department.

Police say, at this point, they don't know if this shooting is connected to any others this weekend.
