Man stabbed in the back in Atwater

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- North Valley authorities are investigating a stabbing. It happened around 5 a.m. Sunday on Cedar Avenue near High Street in Atwater.

Atwater police found a 26-year-old man with a deep laceration on his back. The victim was flown to a Modesto hospital for treatment.

There's no word yet on any possible suspects.
