Merced County Sheriff's Office trying to identify body found southwest of city

MERCED COUNTY (KFSN) -- The Merced County Sheriffs Office Is working to identify human remains found southwest of the city.

The body of an adult man between the ages of 40 and 60 was discovered Tuesday near Franklin Road and Southern Pacific Avenue.

No identification was found.

Deputies are handling the investigation as a suspicious death.

They're asking anyone with information to call the sheriff's office.
