DAYTONA BEACH, FL -- A judge says the South Carolina woman accused of trying to kill her three children by driving her minivan into the Atlantic Ocean off Daytona Beach can send them pre-printed cards.

But Circuit Judge Leah Case ruled Friday that Ebony Wilkerson still can't see the children who were with her on March 4. They remain in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families. Her husband has custody of a baby born in May.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, woman was also barred from contacting the kids through Facebook or by phone.

The children told investigators Wilkerson was trying to kill them.

Wilkerson is out of jail while awaiting trial on $90,000 bail. She's charged with three counts each of attempted second-degree murder and child abuse.
