FILLMORE, Calif. -- The Fillmore area north of Moorpark in Ventura County was hit with a swarm of small earthquakes overnight.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, at least 32 earthquakes struck the area since 8 p.m. Sunday to Monday morning.

The smallest temblor was recorded as a magnitude 1.2 quake, and the largest had a magnitude of 2.4

Last week, the same area was hit by dozens of similar small quakes. USGS seismologist Lucy Jones tweeted about that episode, saying the same area has been hit with similar swarms in the past.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
