Motorcycle rider suffers major injuries after Fresno crash

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- The Fresno Police Department is investigating an accident involving a car and a motorcycle rider.

The crash happened about 10 a.m. on Wednesday on Brunswick and Fig Garden. Officials say the motorcycle rider was in a center lane attempting to make a left hand turn ... When the driver going the other way also pulled into the center lane, hitting the rider.

The motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and was rushed to the hospital. The driver of the car is cooperating with the investigation.
