Officer involved shooting near hospital in San Francisco

Authorities say they've neutralized a shooting threat near a bay area hospital.

There were reports from a San Francisco television station, KGO, of an officer-involved shooting at a construction site near St. Luke's Hospital in the Mission District. The hospital was locked down.

Hospital officials are now saying the police shooting started with some type of altercation near the emergency room.

There is no word yet on any injuries.

Authorities say they've neutralized the threat.
