Pedestrian dead after being struck by truck in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An unidentified person is dead Friday night after being hit by a truck in Fresno County, police said.

Authorities said the crash happened at Central and Fowler Avenues, southeast of Fresno, around 6:30 p.m.

Central Avenue is closed in both directions while authorities investigate what led up to the crash.
