Pedestrian killed in Southeast Fresno Accident

Fresno Police say a man was killed after being struck by a sedan near Tenth and Tulare Avenues around 8 p.m. Thursday night. The victim was taken to CRMC where he was pronounced dead. Streets were closed for several hours as detectives gathered evidence. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is cooperating with police. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
