HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man has been arrested after allegedly using his phone to record an 18-year-old woman while she was using the Kohl's bathroom.

Hanford Police say the teen noticed something strange while using the restroom at Kohl's on Monday night -- a phone peeking up at her from underneath the neighboring stall. She immediately called police and they found the man still in the women's restroom.

Lt. George Hernandez with the Hanford Police Department said 23-year-old Manuel Mariscal denied recording the girl. But he agreed to let officers look at his phone, and that's when they found the recording of the girl in the bathroom.

They say that's the only incident they found evidence of. "The fact that he was so brazen about it, I wouldn't be surprised if he had done it before," said Hernandez.

Mariscal was arrested and booked into the Kings County Jail for invasion of privacy and an outstanding warrant from Tulare County.

The incident now has police issuing a warning. They said if you See anything out of the ordinary, give them a call. "Parents just need to be aware of that, there are people like that out there and take extra precautions," said Hernandez.

Hanford Police say just because they didn't find any other videos, doesn't mean there aren't more victims. If you have any information on this case, you are asked to call Hanford Police.
