Police look for suspect that shot 3 kids in Madera gang duel

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A gang duel in Madera ended with three kids at the hospital and police trying to hunt down a shooter.

Officers started to unravel what happened when they spotted a car driving around with its back window shattered. When they pulled it over, one person ran away, but police detained four juveniles. Investigators say two of the kids had been shot by rival gang members and a third was run over by the rival's car.

Police found the car full of kids near Yosemite and Lake -- not too far east of Highway 99, and they're hoping people who may have seen the shooting will help lead them to the shooters.
