An Iowa man was arrested on Tuesday for reportedly using a McDonald's McChicken sandwich as a weapon against his pregnant wife, according to The Des Moines Register.

Marvin Tramaine Hill II, 21, told police that he threw the McChicken sandwich at his wife "because he doesn't like them." Police met with the couple at their home in Des Moines, where Hill told police it was actually his wife who had assaulted him.

Hill told police his wife woke him up around 1 p.m. on Tuesday with a McChicken sandwich from McDonald's in hand. Hill admitted he became upset and threw the sandwich at his wife, then picked up a piece of the bun and threw it at her again, The Des Moines Register reported.

According to police, Hill's wife went to the bathroom to clean herself but Hill had followed her and used his cellphone to record her. In the video, police saw Hill's wife knock the phone out of his hands, according to The Des Moines Register.

Hill's wife had mayonnaise on her shirt and face when officers located her, according to police. Hill's wife claims that her husband had forcefully smashed the bun onto her face. Police said Hill's wife's nose was swollen, and believed that Hill tried to entice her into knocking the cellphone out of his hand, making her appear more aggressive.

Hill faces a domestic violence charge, and currently remains in custody.
