Police on the lookout after man shot in car in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are searching for three shooting suspects Sunday night.

They say a male victim was shot twice in the upper body at Chance and Butler Streets just after 6 p.m.

He was the driver of a car with two passengers. Investigators learned that three young men walked up to the car and fired about six shots before running to a nearby apartment complex.

The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Detectives are following up on leads to identify the suspects.
