FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police say a suspect who's been sexually assaulting women near the Fresno State campus has struck again.
Two new groping incidents have investigators asking for the public's help in tracking down the man. The latest attacks happened within hours of each other near Millbrook Avenue and Bulldog Lane.
One crime was reported by a woman who was sitting in a parked car. She says a man came up, opened her car door and began fondling her. The second attack involved a 19-year-old tenant an apartment complex in the area. She told police she was attacked while walking from her car to her apartment.
"He rushes her. He gets her from behind, puts his arms and grabs her buttocks, she thinks he's going to push her down towards the floor so she goes down to her knees, then he reaches under and grabs her breasts," Lt. Joe Gomez with the Fresno Police Department explained. "She screams, yells at him, "why are you doing this? Who are you?' and then he runs away."
Police say they've received at least eight reports of groping incidents in the same area in recent months, all of them have happened after dark.
Police are warning women to be careful and be aware of their surroundings at all times.
