Retaliation concerns prompt police to up presence at Lemoore High School

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Lemoore Police Department says extra officers will be on patrol at Lemoore High School on Monday due to concerns of retaliation over a case in Kings County.

Following posts on social media, police contacted the school and spoke with the principal. The school sent out automated phone calls to alert parents of the situation.

Authorities and school officials say it is safe to send students to campus on Monday.

No other details regarding the Kings County case have been made available.
