Roosevelt student perform story of Joseph
The musical tells the Old Testament tale of Joseph -- who was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt where he became second-in-command to the pharaoh.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An ancient and very colorful story from the Bible is coming to life this weekend on a Fresno stage.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was performed Friday at Roosevelt High School.

The young actors from the Roosevelt School of the Performing Arts are now in their final weekend of the show. The musical tells the Old Testament tale of Joseph -- who was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt where he became second-in-command to the pharaoh.

You have three more chances to see the show at Roosevelt.

There's a Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. and the curtain also goes up Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
