Search and Rescue teams find missing boy east of Bass Lake

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Madera County Sheriff's Office says search and rescue teams were looking for a missing 12-year-old boy in a remote area near Whiskey Falls.

Authorities said the search for the boy started around 1 p.m. on Saturday. He was later found Saturday evening.

Deputies say it's not clear exactly how he got lost, but it is a generally rough area. The Sheriff's office said the boy was found safe and in "perfect" condition.
